Intake

Before we start a track in your organisation we would plan one or more intake meetings with the management team, one participant and other stakeholders if needed (HR) to understand what the main goal is the organisation wants to achieve with this track.

These goals are explicitly written down and the content will be adapted to achieve these business goals. The purpose of these tracks is to be aligned with the overall strategy of the organisation and these tracks should contribute directly to achieving the goals from this strategy.

Examples of these goals can be:

  • We want our leaders to think more about value creation and value capturing.

  • We want to be more innovative.

  • We want to introduce data science in the organization, but we notice people are scared.

  • We want our leaders to be more compassionate.

  • We want our leaders to take ownership (Self Determination Theory).

  • We want to address the learned helplessness in the organization.

Format

Each track consists of 4 session of 90 minutes, The sessions are spread over multiple days. In each session we will discuss a certain topic of the track.

During each session the mind and body are stimulated simultaneously, meaning we will be learning about some interesting topics specific to the track, and at the same time we will be doing gentle yoga exercises.

Each session has a similar structure:

The first 5 minutes, we create a safe environment, we explain what is going to happen,  prepare our mats, give a basic introduction to yoga and we explain some of the exercises we are going to do.

A safe and easy yoga position is provided; at any given time throughout the session when you feel you need rest, you can take this position as long as you need.

We will do a gentle 10-minute yoga session. This is not a competition, all exercises are light and you can do them as gently as you want. The purpose is not to make the participants yoga stars. It is just to relax the mind and muscles before we start the academic session.

The academic part, where you will be taught on a specific topic, is split in 2 sessions of 30 minutes. We stay on the mat in a comfortable seated position, paper (a3 drawing paper) and pens are provide to take notes. During this session you are of course allowed to do gentle stretch exercises or change your seated position. However the focus in these module is on the academic topic.
